An ex-Chicagoan transplanted to the Holy City, David is a recovering corporate marketer and a writer of all things strange and fantastical. As the eldest of eight siblings, his stories tend to revolve around personal relationships, whether the hero is riding dragons or motorcycles—though more likely, it’ll be some arcane combination of the two.

David got his start in writing when he took top honors at the Writers of the Future Awards for his story The Paradise Aperture. Formerly, he copyedited for the Hugo-nominated Lightspeed Magazine.
